To some, the field I have chosen to embark upon may seem dry but for me, it provides enough excitement and fulfillment for a life time. Growing up, I always knew I wanted to be a writer but I never knew what I truly wanted to do. I wrote poems, short stories and I constantly had my nose in a book. It was not until high school, when I joined my school's newspaper club, that I found my calling.
I have always been a talkative, honest, opinionated and descriptive person who had a knack for story-telling. For some, the concept of someone always talking is taken negatively but these traits led me to becoming the reporter I am today. I have a passion and an inexplainable urge to share stories with the world. Whether it be getting to know someone through an interview, breaching that wall of mystery between beloved figures and their fans or live-reporting changes in local government, bringing the truth to the people is what I am confident I am destined to do.
